Position Overview
Our client, a leading FMCG concern, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand Manager to lead the development, execution, and monitoring of brand strategies within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. The role requires a balance of creativity, analytical thinking, and commercial acumen to drive brand growth and market share in a highly competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and implement brand strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Define brand positioning, identity, and messaging to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Market Analysis
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Monitor consumer insights and translate them into actionable brand initiatives.
- Campaign Management
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, ATL, BTL, in-store).
- Manage creative agencies and suppliers to deliver impactful campaigns on time and within budget.
- Product Development
- Collaborate with R&D and supply chain teams on new product launches and packaging innovations.
- Ensure product portfolios remain relevant and competitive.
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage brand budgets, ensuring ROI on marketing spend.
- Track and report on brand performance metrics (sales, market share, awareness).
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with sales teams to support trade marketing initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
- 5+ years’ experience in brand management within FMCG.
- Proven track record of successful brand campaigns and product launches.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
