We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-oriented Food Services Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be tasked with generating leads, surpassing sales targets, and negotiating contracts with potential clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, JOB OBJECTIVES, AND KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS OF THE POSITION

Generating Leads: Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.

Meeting or Exceeding Sales Goals: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, track progress, and adjust tactics as needed to ensure success.

Negotiating Contracts: Work closely with prospective clients to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts that meet both client needs and company objectives.

Determining Pricing Schedules: Collaborate with the pricing team to develop competitive quotes, promotions, and negotiation strategies that align with market trends and company goals.

Preparing Reports: Compile and analyze sales data to prepare weekly and monthly reports, providing insights and recommendations.

Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to a diverse range of prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition of our company and its products.

Coordinating Sales Efforts: Work in tandem with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and programs.

Sales Contracts: Prepare and submit detailed sales contracts for orders, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly outlined and agreed upon.

Client Visits: Regularly visit clients and potential clients to assess their needs, promote products, and build strong, lasting relationships.

Maintaining Client Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and account details.

Managing Payments: Foster a good relationship with the Debtors Team to ensure a consistent customer service orientation in all interactions with our clients in relation to their payments and accounts. Professionally manage payments from clients, including handling default clients with care and always acting in the best interest of the business.

Relationship Management with internal Stakeholder: Manage relationships with cross functional teams i.e. warehouse, despatch, finance and planning teams to ensure optimal customer delivery to our customers.

Marketing and Promotions: Participate in marketing and promotional campaigns to increase sales and enhance brand visibility.

Answering Client Questions: Provide prompt and accurate responses to client inquiries regarding credit terms, product availability, delivery or collection procedures, pricing, and other relevant information.
